This intership program is an 8-month premier Christian leadership experience.  It has been designed to EQUIP young adults (17+) to DEEPEN their knowledge and experience in faith, GROW in foundational leadership, and GAIN practical skills for a life-time of impacting their world.  This is the ideal gap year experience or an investment into building leadership within a closely connected community to set you up for greater impact in what God is calling you to do.

The Kwasind Leadership Internship is an 8-month, full-time, residential experience that blends spiritual formation, leadership training, and practical life development. 

Set in the beautiful Muskoka region, you’ll live in community with other interns, serve in ministry, and learn from seasoned leaders — all while growing closer to God and discovering who He’s called you to be.

This life-changing program will have training start at the end of August, with the official launch in September and going through till the end of April with opportunity to join our Spring Crew & Summer Staff starting in May.

FAQ/ CONTACT – Have Questions?

This program is designed for a wide variety of people coming with different skill sets, interests, background, academic training and life experiences.  The aim is that while you will be serving in a ministry context, the aim of this program is to help you develop in to how you can see whatever or wherever you go in life as a means of ministry.  All this to say – you don’t have to have any prior ministry experience to apply – but you will be well equipped for living out Jesus to your world by being part of this experience.
This is a full-time immersive program.  You are living in community and living on-site at Camp Kwasind.   As a result there is limited ability to have outside work.  You will have the option to apply to be part of our Spring Crew for May & June along with our Summer Staff team – both of which can provide some financial support.
There is no cost to be part of the Internship Program.  We actually are investing into you and wanting to provide you with a $300/mth honourarium, as well as room and board.  Note: If the Internship Program were to do a missions trip or offsite experience, you would be responsible for a portion of those costs – however this will be shared with you prior to the start of the program.
There will be shared accommodations onsite that are fully furnished in a dormitory style.
