The mission of Camp Kwasind is made possible largely by individual donations. That is why we are asking you to give generously to ensure a strong future for Camp Kwasind and hundreds of campers it impacts each and every summer!

1. General Operations Fund (includes budgeted Capital Investments) (Goal: $105,000 – currently at $85,000)
These donations are used to support the ongoing ministry work at the camp including maintaining and building the infrastructure for the camp, the development of new equipment & building space, providing leadership for the operations, resourcing the camp programs and expanding the reach and impact of the camp.
2. Campership Fund (Goal: $20,000 – GOAL COMPLETED!)
Every year, there are some families who want to attend Camp Kwasind programs, but they cannot afford it. We try to assist as many families as possible each year by providing subsidized spaces for children in order to impact their lives eternally. We could reach more children and their families if we had the financial resources in our camper scholarship fund. If this is important to you, please consider making a difference in one or more children’s lives.
3. Summer Staff Scholarship Fund (Goal: $10,000 – currently at $2,000)
It is becoming a greater and greater challenge for staff to return each summer as the cost of university and living is ever increasing. We are committed to providing a sustainable model that demonstrates we are good stewards with our resources. At the same time we need to be able to invest more dollars into the funding and support of our staff honorariums, especially for those in university. We desire to increase our average age of staff to ensure we are a mature, wise and committed staff team that provides the best care, support and investment into campers. To ensure the longevity of great staff, we need to be able to better support them.
4. Special Project Fund (Goal: $125,000+)
This fund is focused on capital and other major projects that are “over and above” the day to day operations of camp. This fund allows us to focus on major projects and allows us to ensure that camp is able to make the necessary new strategic developments and upgrades that will position camp program and facilities for future growth. GIVING TO CAMP IS AN INTENTIONAL INVESTMENT IN MEANINGFUL SPIRITUAL LIFE CHANGE!
Without question, Camp Kwasind has had a very effective summer as it fulfilled its mission of being a living demonstration of God’s love to the next generation so that they might in turn live out this love to their world. We continue to grow in our camper numbers, engage new families in the Kwasind experience and see a high retention of returning staff. All this and more is leading towards a strong future built on the legacy of people like yourself who were part of camp, believed in camp and ensured that it was and will remain a place where one can “feel the touch of God”.
Please prayerfully consider how you can make an intentional investment that will result in meaningful spiritual life change for hundreds of campers.
NOTE: We would appreciate it if you would please consider a monthly or annual monetary gift as a “Friend of Kwasind”. Contact email@example.com for more details.
